Tinsel is the name of our our tiny white and silver dwarf hamster we got for Christmas two years ago. She loves the little treats we bought at the pet store and wrapped indivdually for her in pink tissue paper. The kids have fun letting her unwrap her presents and stuff them in her little cheeks. She's a bit spoiled with her own chandelier and pink pearl vintage wirebrush Christmas tree. The silk ribbon says on the top of her crystal palace cage says: "Not a Creature Was Stirring" in silver glitter letters.
Thanks to Paper Nosh for letting me know about Pink Saturday! http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com
That has to be the MOST darling thing I've ever seen! Tinsel is sooo cute and I must admit I'm a bit envious of her chandelier and pink X-mas tree! ..giggle..
ReplyDeleteThis is the cutest thing ever!! Your hamster is so cute and I've never said that before. My little boy is wanting a hamster, so I showed him your photos here and he was just up and down saying "Can I have one, Can I have one?" Your cage is so adorable it makes me want a hamster to put in a cage like this!! I was wondering what the pink fluff on the floor of the cage was....if you don't mind sharing with me on my blog oneday! Thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words. The hamster bedding comes in pink, green, brown or white from the pet store. It's made of recycled paper I believe. The cage is glass and metal and fits loosely together so there are large air gaps for the hammy to breathe. The hamster is a "dwarf" size, smaller than a mouse, so she fits perfect. Your son will have lots of fun with a cute little hamster to love.
ReplyDeleteEeek! A mouse! Seriously though, I think that is the prettiest mouse habitat I have ever seen. HPS!
