Marie Antoinette Tiara Christmas Tree

My little pink Christmas tree reminds me of Marie Antoiette adorned with sparkling diamond tiaras on every branch. She glitters with antique pink balls, German glitter glass butterflies, crystals and birds bearing reminders to never give up on hope, love and dreams.

Bunnies By The Bay Christmas

I absolutely love Bunnies by the Bay and am fortunate to live near the factory. Over the years I have purchased many unique and handmade treasures from them. I like to build a little display for Christmas using some of my collection. I added wings to the mohair bunny and a little vintage diamond wire sprig for a tiara. The mouse below here was made by Krystal, one of the sisters who started Bunnies years ago. In the cloche, I like to make a Winter Wonderland scene using ornaments from Bunnies by the Bay. I give it a snowglobe effect by sprinkling glitter snow on the inside of the glass. It sticks just fine without using anything to adhere it and easily wipes out. I added unexpected pink glass door knobs and vintage paints in little glass tubes to give it an achitectural feel.

Enchanted Christmas Forest

I love the feeling of walking through a forest on a snowy winter day. The frost makes everything sparkle like jewels. I tried to recreate the feeling throughout the house for Christmas. German glitter glass snowflakes and lots of vintage glass pinecones add to the ambiance. Snowy owls hide in the trees and winter butterflies alight on the branches in the chandelier adding enchantment to the forest dream.

Pink Mice and Marshmallow Treats

The kids are decorating treats for the holidays. We piped meringue bodies for the mice and cut ears out of tiny pink marshmallows to stick on their heads. The eyes and noses are indivual sprinkles used on cupcakes. The tail is a sliver of liorice sliced of a larger piece with a sharp knife. Then we made tiny cupcakes fit for the Sugar Plum Fairy out of mini silver cupcake holders. We dipped the frosting in pink sugar and embellished with a silver dragee. The marshmallows on a stick were drizzed with white chocolate as well as the sugar cookies. Yum.

Getting Pretty

This is my Christmas Wish List for all things glittery. Too Faced Sweet Dreams has four collections to choose from. The graphics on the pallettes are so beautiful with swans, white peacocks, pink bunnies and butterflies accented in glitter. The three travel size eyemakeup brushes come in a little metal tube that looks like Laduree designed it. I'm a sucker for packaging but Too Faced is also a very decent product and I enjoy their shadows as much as the more expensive brands. The last three photos are from Trina Tarintino's collection at Sephora, pink shimmer dust that poofs on like a perfume and her pearl glow primer to wear under your makeup are the top of my list for the holidays.

Pink Hair Fantasy

Someday I want to have pink hair. Not really bright pink, but really soft. Maybe just highlights. Love the Maltese with pink fur on the bottom.
