Chateau de Chantilly, Chantilly Cream, Chantilly Lace, and the 1940's Houbigant creation Chantilly fragrance. Can't decide what I love more... castles, whipcream, lace or perfume. Everything associated with Chantilly seems decedant. When I was a teen I loved looking at Chantilly ads in magazines. The pink packaging, the lace, the pretty women. I hoped one day I would grow up to be one of them. Unfortunately the perfume formula became quite diluted after switching hands from Houbigant to Dana and lost it's prestigious status. Looking at some of these older ads from ebay shows the pretty bottles that it used to be packaged in. I decided I am going to name my maltese puppy (when I get her) Chantilly Cream Puff. It's a silly name, I know, but I'm a silly girl.
