Every party princess should keep a few hangover essentials on hand: Bella Il Fiore Boo Boo Couture Ice Bags, pink tassel earplugs by JenGen, Agent Provoceteur Meow Eye Mask, antique pill box for your aspirin, and Sence Rare European Rose Nectar to restore hydration and take down inflamation in your skin. It is made of roses and is rather sweetly delicious. I like to cut it with lime Perrier or sometimes buy the Sence Silver made with 1/3 less sugar. Roses have been used throughout history for their unique healing properties, especially where the skin is concerned. If all else fails, you can always go on the Sence Rose Nectar website for incredible coctails recipes and extend your festivities one more day. http://www.sencenectar.com/ Wishing you a speedy recovery from your Happy New Year!

Not A Creature Was Stirring...
Tinsel is the name of our our tiny white and silver dwarf hamster we got for Christmas two years ago. She loves the little treats we bought at the pet store and wrapped indivdually for her in pink tissue paper. The kids have fun letting her unwrap her presents and stuff them in her little cheeks. She's a bit spoiled with her own chandelier and pink pearl vintage wirebrush Christmas tree. The silk ribbon says on the top of her crystal palace cage says: "Not a Creature Was Stirring" in silver glitter letters.

New Years Paris Champagne Party
Who doesn't love a party? Especially one full of roses, feathers and glitz. Start with the Marie Antoinette invites available from Paper Nosh on Etsy. Dress up a german half doll with silk roses, pearl hat pin for a magic wand and some tickets for free hugs and kisses. Embellish a bouquet of roses with a pink silk bow pinned with an Eisenberg bow brooch glued to a dowel to crown the queen of flowers. Serve tea from Laduree and Grande Dame pink champagne from Veuve Clicquot in vintage champagne goblets from Fostoria and Voila! Wouldn't Marie have loved the bows etched in the stemware? The pattern is called Romance. I think she might have approved.

Sugar Plum Fairy Christmas Tree
photos: Callies Portrait Photography
My royal Christmas tree is gloriously crowned with a vintage rhinestone tiara and sashed in pink glitter tuelling with a thick white satin ribbon that says "Sugar Plum Fairy Queen" in silver glitter lettering. She is set in an ornate cement urn in front of a 18th Century French mirror. Butterflies attend her every need. There are two smaller white trees in iron urns who are her ladies-in-waiting. They are covered in vintage silver pinecones, angel hair, and ribbon & tuelle bows my kids nicknamed tutu-fluffs.
Marie Antoinette Tiara Christmas Tree

My little pink Christmas tree reminds me of Marie Antoiette adorned with sparkling diamond tiaras on every branch. She glitters with antique pink balls, German glitter glass butterflies, crystals and birds bearing reminders to never give up on hope, love and dreams.
